Our Routes

Our Cycle4Life event consists of 4 routes catering for cyclists of all abilities. From beginners to the more advanced cyclist, we have a route to suit and challenge you. For those on Strava, you can join our Cycle4Life Strava Club. Join fellow Cycle4Lifers and share your training cycles and preparations for the big day.


advanced route 100kms

The advanced route starts in Dunboyne (M3 Parkway) and will take you to Ratoath and on to Skyrne, before a testing climb to the hill of Tara. From there you head through Dunsany to the junction with the Trim road. Turning right onto Trim road, which takes rides to Trim town. From Trim the route takes a left turn on to the Longwood road, before turning left in Longwood towards the Enfield road. The second food stop is located shortly after Longwood. Just before Enfield turn left towards Summerhill. The Summerhill to Dunboyne road is approximately 20 kilometres long, rising over the Mullagh cross. Caution is required negotiating the sharp left at Jenkinstown bridge. As you approach Dunboyne turn left towards the finish line at M3 Parkway. This is a testing 100km route through some of Meath's most beautiful and historical countryside.

intermediate Route 55kms

There will be a food stop at the summit in Tara for those wanting to avail of refreshments. This 55 km route is testing in sections and takes in some of Meath's most beautiful and historical countryside.

Family Route 7kms

The Family route starts in M3 Parkway Dunboyne and heads to the Summerhill roundabout before taking the by-pass to the Maynooth road roundabout. At the roundabout you will take the 3rd exit back towards the finish line at the M3 Parkway.

Kiddies route 1km

The Kiddies route consists of a lap of M3 Parkway. From the confines of M3 Parkway carpark, the Kiddies route proceeds once around the perimeter of the park. The pace is walking pace so Mum's and Dad's can walk, jog or run alongside their little Cycle4Lifers.
